What are we looking for?
The Norfolk Highways Maintenance contract requires an experienced Works Manager to work in a busy environment delivering highway improvement schemes to Norfolk County Council. A flexible approach to the working day is required, weekend work and night work is possible and can be expected. Your fundamental duty will be managing teams delivering a wide range of highway works including, groundworks, drainage, kerbing, concreting and asphalting. You should have at least 5 years experience in a highway environment and be able to demonstrate the requisite skills and knowledge to fulfill the role. A current drivers licence is required with management CSCS card, NRSWA Supervisors card. The role will be site and office based and good IT skills are required.

What will I be responsible for?
Your role will be to ensure that works are delivered within programme, in a safe manner and commercial targets are met. You will report directly to the Operations Manager
