We are currently looking for an experienced Loading Shovel driver/General operative to join the team at our Tarmac site in Block Fen, Chatteris, CB6 2AY. We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.
This is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires experience in operating mobile plant. You to have basic literacy and numeracy skills. Knowledge of aggregate & asphalt products would be an advantage, Knowledge of Environment and health & safety - safe systems at work. Be a team player, prepared to speak up/challenge unsafe acts, and be physically fit.
Reporting directly to the Unit manager, you will specifically focus on ensuring daily tasks are completed including general site housekeeping, basic maintenance and the safe and efficient operation of mobile and fixed plant ensuring that materials are correctly loaded and into the right places.
