We are currently looking for a Systems Admin to join our team in Quorn, Leicestershire at Tarmac. We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.
This is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires;
- Knowledge of data systems inc. Databases and Geographic Information System (GIS), SQL, ESRI systems
- An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build, develop and influence relationships through collaboration
- Good verbal and written communication skills
An understanding of Land Information Systems
An understanding of Python and/or SQL systems and database connectivity
Reporting directly to the LIS Manager, you will to support the function with administrative duties for the efficient maintenance of the Company Data held within the Land Information System (LIS) and Geographic Information System (GIS). You will be required to administer the entry, editing, and archiving of Land and Geographic Data held within the departmental systems and to support with the creation of digital drawings and plans for project work.
