What are we looking for?
GCSE level of education (3 GCSE’s in Maths and English preferred)
A good standard of numeracy, literacy and computer skills
Time served apprenticeship mechanical engineering
Mechanical engineering certification
Safety Qualifications i.e.IOSH
Proven mechanical experience in cement or other related continuous process heavy industry
Multi-skilled engineering maintenance
What will I be responsible for?
Responsible for preventative maintenance and checks whilst applying and changing lubricant, obtain oil samples, evaluate and raise work orders according to the lubrication schedule and carry out repairs with required. This role is responsible for lubricant stock control and will be a member of the Maintenance departments reliability team and will also assist with the execution of mechanical jobs when the need arises. Reporting usage of oils & lubricants, responsible for waste management/transfer working within environmental controls.
