We are currently looking for a Group Internal Auditor to join our Global Internal Audit team based in Portland House, Birmingham at Tarmac but with travel to CRH businesses in the UK and Internationally of up to 40%. We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.

This is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires a University Degree, a recognised Chartered Accounting or Internal Auditing qualification and a clean Driving License, with a minimum 3 years 'Big 4' accountancy practice training and ideally 1 to 2 years post qualification experience in Commerce / Industry or Practice. Experience of SOX 404 testing, Data Analysis techniques and fluent English is required. Proficiency in another European language is desirable.

Reporting directly to a CRH Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of internal audits which provide independent Assurance (to Management and the CRH Audit Committee) that CRH is adequately managing its key Risks and that Internal Controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively.
