Training and development opportunities

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at Cross Green Asphalt in weighbridge operations, you will be responsible for allocating work to the lorry drivers to meet customers demands, take customer orders over the telephone, enter orders onto the computer system, issue out delivery tickets, plan & scheduling of customer orders. Some manual work will be required to maintain the cleanliness of the weighbridge.

The successful candidate will be required to work to High Safety standards to maintain zero harm, have an understanding of shipping of lorries & materials to meet customer demands & control of the HGV fleet, with computer & telephone skills being essential.

Training will be given but previous experience in this operation would be an advantage.

We would expect the successful candidate to be able to work on their own or as part of a team.
