What are we looking for?
Mountsorrel is looking for an experienced Explosive Supervisor to lead the extractive blasting operations at one of the largest granite quarries in the UK. The right candidate will hold a current blast design qualification, and have up to date knowledge of current blasting techniques in high output multi bench quarries.
What will I be responsible for?
Leading a team of Shotfirers and contract drillers, your day to day responsibilities will be to ensure the supply of blasted stone to the quarry production team, inline with the Quarry design. In addition you will be developing the next generation of shotfirers and explosive supervisors to lead Mountsorrel into the future.
