What are we looking for?

We are looking for an Quarry Manager to lead the site at Broom and to drive ambition and performance. We would expect the successful candidate to be experienced with the Quarry Industry however, this is not essential.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate about success and health and safety conscious.


What will I be responsible for?

You will specifically focus on the running of the quarry plant. This will include ensuring all health and safety requirements of the site are met, budgeting, cost forecasting, production, maintenance of the plant. Allocating rotas, appraisals for staff and reporting to the area production. This also includes working in a small dedicated team ensuring health, safety and environment standards are maintained at all times.


Daily duties include the Inspection and monitoring of equipment in accordance with the site regime, as well as carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties as required by management and in accordance with the site regime.

You will need to show a high degree of flexibility within your work and varying start and finish times including weekend working in order to satisfy the demand and requirements.
