What are we looking for?
Reporting to the shift co-ordinator the job holder will be accountable for the smooth running and performance of their allocated plant item and/or task. The majority of time will be spent operating plant, maximising its throughput and operating a forklift truck as required. However the job holder will also be expected to carry out other duties such as first line maintenance, cleaning, manual handling and any other task which is safe and the for which the individual can be trained as the occasion arises. Electrical or mechanical skills would be beneficial due to the nature of the 24/7 operation but not essential for the individual with the right attitude. A high level of accuracy with data and information reporting will be required and some IT literacy will be essential. The job holder will also take full advantage of any opportunities that arise from training and task rotation
