What are we looking for?
Ideally with previous experience in testing aggregates and asphalt, we would expect the successful candidate to be competent in computer use and basic reporting. They would be expected to comply with Tarmac's Safety and Quality Management systems ensuring all activities are carried out in line with standards and policy, and supporting the health and safety culture by setting a personal example. We would also anticipate the successful candidate to be flexible as there will be an element of weekend/night working to enable us to continue to provide an excellent service to our customers. The candidate is expected to be self-motivated, possess good time keeping skills, able to work effectively in a team and must have excellent communication skills to work closely with other Business units on a daily basis
What will I be responsible for?
They will specifically focus on the Quality Control of Aggregates and Asphalt supplied from the Swindon, Oxfordshire and Berkshire area, helping to maintain a positive culture to the reduction of complaints and high-quality material supplied from the unit
