An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Exeter asphalt plant for a Multi skilled Operative to join the team. The position will involve operation off the asphalt plant, mobile plant and undertaking autonomous and preventive maintenance task.
A positive and proactive approach to all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental is essential. In addition quality of workmanship and final product is to be maintained to company standard.
The successful candidate will be flexible, self motivated, committed, willing to learn and able to work as part of a team.
The role will involve operating mobile plant and asphalt batching plant, caring out plant checks and basic maintenance work as well as manual handling work.
A flexible approach to working hours and patterns will also be required - such as nights / backshift working patterns. Currently the unit operates 25 weeks of any calander year within these periods.
Previous experience is an advantage, although full training will be given,
