An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to work within the Mountsorrel Electrical Department.
Duties for the Electrical Supervisor will include making schedules, assigning work and training employees. Motivating a team of Maintenance Electricians to increase their productivity and meet work goals.
To ensure the proper maintenance of equipment, compliance with electrical codes and adherence to safety regulations. The Electrical Supervisor will assist with electrical system installation, troubleshooting and repair as needed. Designing electrical systems and circuits, as well as contributing to improved designs and manufacturing processes are other common job functions.
Ideally the successful candidate will have previous supervisory experience and hold an HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
We would also anticipate the successful candidate to hold an inspection and testing certificate and 17th Edition. They would be able to interpret electrical control drawings, complete RAMS, fault find on PLC's, drives, motors and control panels. Experience in HV would be an advantage.
