An opportunity has arisen for a Fixed Plant Maintenance Fitter at our Teesport Asphalt Plant, Middlesbrough. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in maintenance operations in Quarrying & Asphalt Plant or similar operations. The successful candidate will be working in a busy environment as part of the small Teesport Works maintenance team and will specifically focus on general repairs, preventative maintenance and improvement projects.
The successfull candidate needs to be experienced in welding, cutting and have a good understanding of the mechanical process of a busy production plant.
Being a good organiser and possessing flexibility are pre-requisites for this job. The role is mainly day work but involves working late/back shifts and provision of on call cover for night shifts
You will be required to uphold the high personal safety expectations of the site. Being able to demonstrate good general health & safety awareness is essential.
