An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operative to work with the production team and deliver all set targets. This role will be at our Swains Park site based in Swadlincote.
You will specifically focus on the day to day production activities, producing cementitious products and packing them into specified packages. There will be elements of manual handling across the business and a need to be trained and train others on a multitude of different tasks, including mixing. Safety on site is the number 1 priority with full PPE adherence throughout the shift, this may include wearing full face air masks throughout the shift. There will be production documentation that needs to be completed and operating safely and driving a safety culture is a key part of the role.
We would expect the successful candidate to have experience of working in a factory or manufacturing environment and automated production operations.
You will possess the following attributes and behaviours: Driving a safety culture, be responsible and trustworthy, conscientious and motivated. Maintain a good standard of work and timekeeping. You must be a good team player who has the drive to succeed and promote good business practices.
We would also anticipate the successful candidate to work shifts and additional hours when requested and hold a full driving licence.
You must be able to demonstrate a good track record for safety, health and environmental awareness. Please note if this is a Safety critical role a medical will be required before employment can commence.
